Hi! I'm Melissa. Animal communicator, pet psychic, energy healer, and full-time cat translator based in the Bay Area. I help cat parents find out what their animal is really feeling, what they need, and what they've been trying to say this whole time. Living or crossed over. Online worldwide, in person across the Bay.

✨ How I ended up here

Cats have always been my people. Homeward Bound emotionally wrecked me as a kid (millennials, you know), and that was that. I was the awkward teenager meowing at cats instead of talking to humans, bottle-feeding kittens on a high school volunteer shift, then somehow fifteen years deep in animal welfare. Shelters. Vet clinics, including the ER chaos kind. A farm. Advocacy, hands-on care, and a whole lot of "yeah, I can probably figure that out."

These days I work in veterinary medicine at an all-cat clinic, which is my personal slice of perfection pie, learning the heart and the science and the beautifully weird reality of helping animals heal.

Basically, I turned “my special interest is cats” into a whole career… which surprises absolutely no one.

Then there was Luna.

I adopted her in 2012 and she was my North Star. My comfort, my mirror, my familiar, the cat I talked to like she paid rent. She passed on 12/31/22 and the whole house went wrong, even with Bob and Oojie still in it

We adopted Maggie hoping to bring the warmth back. Instead we got Jersey Shore, season feline. Bob pooping outside the box, bullying, hissing, a fresh episode every single day, and me as the exhausted producer holding the boom mic while grieving the cat who used to be my whole peace.

We tried everything. Nothing shifted. I genuinely did not know how I was going to survive another day of emotional cat wrestling.

Then Soul Level Animal Communication and Energy Healing cracked the entire thing open.

I stopped managing Bob's behavior and started listening to her soul, past the noise, to what she actually needed. Everything softened. Maggie ventured out. Bob relaxed. We went from war zone to chase-play to nose boops to full "hey sis" energy.

And learning to hold Bob at the soul level reconnected me with Luna in the spirit world, which turned my grief from something sharp into something I could actually carry and grow inside of.

Now I check in with Bob energetically all the time. Her emotions, the vibe of the house, what each of us needs to stay level. Every time it shifts with a little soul-level attention I'm still like... ohhh, so we're doing tiny miracles today? Cute.

💫 What I Believe

Animals are tiny furry professors delivering life lessons in the most chaotic, emotionally disruptive ways available to them. Mirrors, guides, comedians, boundary-testers, love-bombs, and occasionally spiritual advisors who express deep cosmic wisdom by peeing on your favorite vintage concert hoodie.

Every bit of it is teaching you something about trust, about communication, about your own healing, and about exactly where your energy has gone sideways.

I'm here to translate the cosmic comedy into human words, one lesson at a time.

And yes, I work with every species, living or crossed over, including your fully domesticated pet raccoon. Cats are just where my obsession and my education run deepest.
