💫 About Melissa

My story with animals started long, long ago; I’ve known since I was a kid that animals were my people. The moment I watched Homeward Bound (iykyk), I knew that somehow, I’d dedicate my life to them. In high school, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter—a decision that shaped nearly fifteen years (& counting) of work in animal care at shelters, vet clinics, and a farm to most recently - a specialty veterinary surgery service in the South Bay Area.

I adopted my soul cat, Luna, in 2012 and she was my lighthouse her entire life. Her & I shared every moment, every thought, and we definitely could have shared every breath- if that would have been possible. When she crossed the Rainbow Bridge on 12-31-2022, our home (& my heart) felt incomplete—even with Bob and Taylor still around. When we adopted adult cat, Maggie, hoping to try to fill that Luna-shaped void, things went sideways fast: Bob started pooping outside the litter box, bullying Maggie, and even lashing out at her humans, while Maggie hid in fear. The chaos was constant, and I honestly didn’t know if we’d ever find harmony again.

We tried everything—supplements, behaviorist tips (yes, even Jackson Galaxy!), and Prozac—but nothing seemed to work. The tension was exhausting, and every day felt heavier. I just wanted everyone—humans and cats alike—to finally breathe again.

Then I stumbled into something that completely shifted everything: Soul Level Animal Communication and Energy Healing. When I started connecting with Bob’s soul, tuning into what she truly needed beyond behavior medications or quick fixes, things softened. The energy in our home shifted. Slowly, Maggie and Bob began to coexist, then started their version of play (chase), then—miraculously—began regularly sharing nose boops & ”sniffies”. It felt like watching tiny sparks of magic stitch our family back together.

Learning how to work with Bob in the real world also helped me learn how to work with Luna in the spirit world. I continue to rework my grief in ways that are productive and positive rather than just sulking in the darkness listening to sad songs.

I work energetically with Bob on a regular basis, checking in on her emotions, our household’s overall vibe, and what everyone needs to stay balanced. It still amazes me how a few soul-level adjustments can ripple through the home—turning tension into connection, stress into joy, and chaos into cuddles.

Now, through animal communication, tarot, and energy work, I help other big-hearted, cat-obsessed humans find the peace, laughter, and clarity they’ve been craving with their pets. I blend intuition, humor, and compassion to relay your cat’s messages in a way that actually feels good—grounded, joyful, and full of “ohhh, that makes sense” moments.

I believe animals are never “bad.” They’re mirrors, teachers, and tiny bundles of light here to help us grow—especially when things get messy (literally or spiritually). Every single animal we meet has something to teach us about love, boundaries, and trust. My desire is simply to help you hear them.

I’m an extroverted, millennial, neurodivergent cat lady who believes laughter is part of the magic. My work is part soulful heart-to-heart and part comedy special - always guided by your cat’s higher self.

If you vibe with open-hearted conversations, silly energy, and a little bit of magic, you’re in the right place.
